While the industry argues over this name, Ovrkast. answers with STRIKING.

East Oakland rapper and producer Ovrkast. has released his new album STRIKING, out now via Brooklyn label three times LOUDER. The 12-track project follows 2025's While The Iron Is Hot and features Joey Bada$$, MAVI, Samara Cyn, Niontay, Marco Plus, Ben Reilly, and more, with singles 'WINDO,' 'PANE,' 'Wata,' and 'KNOCK' leading the way. Ovrkast.'s jazz-influenced, sample-heavy production anchors the 32-minute run.

The release comes amid a headline-making trademark lawsuit from OutKast's company High Schoolers LLC over the near-identical stage name — the case is still pending, and no court has stopped the music. Ovrkast. also takes STRIKING on the road this fall with the Still Striking US Tour kicking off November 17.
